Since baby’s arrival, your head, shoulders, knees, and toes have gotten a lot of attention. Sadly, the same can’t be said of your belly, butt, and thighs.
Get back in the game with J. Braun of Tidal Elite Performance Center, where there’s a postpartum workout that targets the jiggles pregnancy leaves behind. Braun starts with a total body assessment to determine how carrying the extra weight, nursing, holding a babe on your hip, and schlepping around a ten-pound diaper bag have affected your alignment and body composition.
Then it’s on to squats, twists, presses, push-ups, and rows. He mixes up your routine to stave off boredom and get you to turn yourself around.
After all, that’s what it’s all about.
Available at Tidal Elite Performance Center, 4123 Wisconsin Avenue Northwest, at Van Ness Street (202-249-1621 or tidalepc.com).
