At uni, your primary knickers concerns were 1) finding a clean pair in the morning and 2) ensuring you didn’t leave them behind at the end of the night.

Not so for the girls behind the gorgeous new lingerie label Beautiful Bottoms. Poppy Sexton-Wainwright and Lauren Skerritt began researching fabrics for their whimsical collection while studying at Newcastle University.

The bras, knickers and camisoles are made from pure silk georgette in vibrant florals and retro European vintage-inspired prints so pretty you’ll be happy to let them peek through outerwear. Soft shapes, flirty frills, silk ties, halter-neck straps and cute clip and bow fastenings ensure there is nothing slutty about the beautiful intimates.

In fact, we’d call them a class act.
