Spring means the re-emergence of bare skin (Boob Day, as it’s known around our office) is fast approaching.
Before busting out, slip on lingerie from Bazsarózsa — a new line of underpinnings created by former Mayle design director Enikö Bázsa.
The debut collection sticks to clean silhouettes. Antique-finished hardware and feminine touches (scalloped lace, brass eyelets) keep the wide straps, boyish briefs, and underwire-free designs on the seductive side of athletic. Our (and Enikö’s) favorite look: a double-banded bra that creates the illusion of cut-outs around the torso.
Made from organic cotton, designs cater to those seeking comfort as well as sex appeal. No frilly trim (the culprit behind visible lines) and a simple black and natural palette means you can wear it with everything.
Or, better yet, nothing.
Available at Barneys New York, 660 Madison Avenue, at 61st Street (212-826-8900 or barneys.com); Journelle, 3 East 17th Street, between Fifth Avenue and Broadway (212-255-7800 or journelle.com), $60-$148.
