And it still exists at Violet Hair and Skin Care, a Georgetown beauty parlor that wants to be your good neighbor.

The guys with the big shears (and big hearts) are Jimmy Cehreli and Mesut Ozaydin; they sharpened their skills at well-known spots around town (Toka, George) before setting out on their own. Cehreli is the master of color (and calmness), while Ozaydin does the trims and lobs (and is a great listener).

Rumor has it you’ll feel pampered even without a facial, body treatment, or manicure — though they offer those, too.
