Blowhards? Washington is crawling with them. And generally you run the other way — as with last night’s date (dude thought a laundry list of resume highlights qualified as dinner conversation).

But here’s one you just might warm up to: blow-drying lessons from expert stylist Victoria Iliesh.

With a background as both an artist and hair stylist, Iliesh understands why some locks do this and others do that. Her personal consultations include a discussion of hair style, care, and treatment that’s right for you; fundamentals (like which brush and dryer to use); and insider tricks (how to get those pesky wisps around your face to dry straight).

Classes are small and cater to each student’s individual needs, but if you’re seriously inept, Iliesh offers one-on-one tutorials.

And, unlike most people around here, she’ll never blow smoke up your ass.
