West Elm Opens
What: The huge modern home furnishings store opens in the old Woodies Building.
Why: Home is where the heart is.
When: Mon.-Fri., 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sat., 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sun., noon-6 p.m.

What: Head over for cocktails on the patio and meet Jim Beam’s great grandson who will be there to celebrate the bar’s namesake drink.
Why: Show some spirit.

What: Pick up a map at the Great Falls Tavern Visitor Center then hike along the three-mile route next to the river.
Why: You seem a little gruff.

What: Figure out your nutritional needs and learn to practice mindful eating through yoga.
Why: Food for thought.
