Pass the Cheer
Dedicated E-mail: Starbucks

The last time you tried to do a good deed, it hurt.
It turns out that elderly lady didn’t actually want help crossing the street. (But did she really need to swat you with her handbag?)
Want to do some real good? Head to Starbucks, where they are passing the cheer, the karmic concept all about spreading kindness (and helping the goodwill catch on). Starbucks Coffee is teaming up with Modest Needs Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to aiding hardworking families who’ve encountered an unexpected financial crisis.
Starting November 8, when you fuel up on your daily Gingerbread Latte, Eggnog Latte, or Peppermint Mocha, your spare change will be helping hardworking, low-income families. Twenty cents from every holiday bevvy will go to Modest Needs Foundation. And because giving is sweet and one day of giving is not enough, Starbucks will continue the chain of cheer by supporting Modest Needs Foundation throughout the holiday season. Hit up their other pass-the-cheer days on November 23 and 26 and December 8, 15, and 22, when they will donate ten cents per cup to Modest Needs Foundation.
Knowing your yummy drink is spreading the cheer to others will add an extra spring to your step.
Being charitable never tasted so good.
