Pass the Cheer
Dedicated E-mail: Starbucks

After passing off that store-bought pumpkin pie as home cooking, you’re going to need some help getting on Santa’s nice list.
Step one: Go to Starbucks.
Starbucks Coffee is teaming up with Modest Needs Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to aiding hardworking families who’ve encountered an unexpected financial crisis.
This holiday season, Starbucks Coffee and Modest Needs Foundation are spreading the cheer. When you order your favorite holiday bevvy at Starbucks on December 22, ten cents will be donated to Modest Needs, which aids families facing emergency expenses. Get a yummy Gingerbread Latte (with sugar-free syrup) for your BFF, a surprise Peppermint Mocha for a coworker, or a festive Eggnog Latte for your beau. Then sip up and delight in the season of giving.
Your small change can make a world of a difference: After Modest Needs paid the heating bill of a single parent whose child suffers from sickle-cell anemia, he wrote, “I am so blessed at this time to receive such help from strangers. Knowing that one bill is being taken care of and [that] we shall continue to have heat does take some of the stress off my mind. Again, thank you all!”
Being charitable never tasted so good.
